Natural Deodorant

Conventional deodorant employs lots of shady science to get you to stink less. First, the aluminum in it straight up blocks you from sweating, which means your body's natural cooling system can't function at all.

Add to that a heavy dose of artificial fragrances - designed to conceal, not prevent odor - and the usual host of preservatives, stabilizers, and fillers added to conventional products, and you get something that's only minimally effective and is actually working against your body.

We'll give it to you straight: probably, for a week or two. Your body needs time to purge the built-up gunk from your old deodorant, and your sweat glands are learning to function normally again. But once you're through it, your BO will chill out.

Plus, the longer you use natural deodorant, the more effective it will become. Meaning your personal ecosystem actually evolves. How cool is that?

Natural deodorant won't stop you from sweating. But once sweat arises - because you're only human, right? - natural deodorant delivers sophisticated odor control. First, the magnesium hydroxide discourages the growth of odor-causing bacteria in a big way. Over time, there will be fewer and fewer of these bacteria to cause problems in the first place.

And, should odor occur, the zinc ricinoleate in our formulations locks that shit right up and seals it off, making you smell fresh as a goddamn daisy.

Our natural deodorant is made without baking soda, which can cause major irritation for sensitive underarms.

Baking soda is very water-soluble, so sweat will pull it right down into your pores, where it can cause problems. Magnesium hydroxide, which we use instead of baking soda, stays put right on the surface of skin where it belongs.

On top of that, we use a blend of nourishing butters, and only pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils for scent.

No yellow stains (that’s aluminum’s fault), but oil-based formulas can leave residue if you overapply. A little goes a long way.
